Lucy’s Beach Shack Living Room Transformation

Leaning in to the relaxed, coastal vibe, we chosen a warm white for the partitions. Encompass by Laminex wall panelling comes pre-primed and completely ready to paint – we started off implementing paint to all the deep grooves with a paintbrush, before making use of two coats of paint with a roller – rolling horizontally in line with the panels.

Then, we went a little bit ridiculous and manufactured our have couch (!) – with a little support from our buddies at Zenn Structure. Gordy created the couch base with drawers beneath to maximise storage, and Zenn Layout established the tailor made upholstery using using Warwick Fabrics’ Cheshire Paprika fabric.

We styled the sofa with scatter cushions from Weave, which add a great graphic touch, contrasting with the sheer linen curtains, yet again designed by Zenn Style and design, making use of Warwick Fabrics’ Burano Eggshell linen weave

Once the furniture and curtains were being in, it was time to believe about lighting. This area experienced pre-present downlights, but we ended up keen to insert a few additional (dimmable!) light resources to inject a minor far more atmosphere. We went with a wall mounted reading lamp above the couch (its the Lamp de Marseille by Le Corbusier, which you can get at Cult, though this 1 is vintage). Previously mentioned the dining desk, we went with the really perfectly-priced Dampier Lantern 70 pendant lamp by The Culture inc, put in nice and minimal.

A very careful edit of occasional home furniture, artwork and handcrafted objects are the ending touches that entire this appear. I’m so joyful with how this place turned out! And now… to deal with the relaxation of the property!
