Seeking a highly motivated and creative designer to assist in managing high-end residential interior design projects and selections for multiple projects based in our Sullivan’s Island, SC office. Designer will work closely with construction project manager and subcontractors from design development through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include specifying exterior and interior material selections, helping prepare full sets of construction documents & schedules; interfacing with vendors, clients, and subcontractors; procurement of material to overseeing install. We are a full-service design-build and interior design firm so designer must have a proficiency in AutoCAD and be able to draw detailed furniture plans and elevations. Must be a team player but can also thrive independently and jump in to multitask multiple projects. A high level of organization and attention to detail is essential for success in this role. A shared passion for our modern clean design aesthetic and timeless interiors is a plus!

-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working at a residential design firm

-Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit.

-Draft floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, electrical plans, interior trim work-up, cabinet concepts and layouts

-Excellent knowledge of furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings and local vendors and artisans

-Able to put together polished design presentations in Powerpoint or InDesign including design concepts, space planning, interior and exterior architectural elements, color schemes, fabric schemes, custom drapery, upholstery, custom furniture and artwork

-Must be comfortable presenting ideas to clients

-Excellent communication and leadership skills with both clients and trades

-Residential construction knowledge and ability to read architectural plans
